Terms, plain and short.
LAST UPDATED · 2 NOVEMBER 2026 · SHILP COLLECTIVE, BENGALURU
Welcome, and thank you for using Shilp. These terms are short on purpose — a legal doc few can read protects nobody. Here is the whole deal, plainly.
[ 01 ]What Shilp is
Shilp is a website and a browser-based tool. It helps you describe an app in plain language, then assembles a single HTML file using your own AI provider account. Shilp runs on your device. We do not host your app, your data, or your account.
[ 02 ]Your API key and provider accounts
- Shilp is strictly bring-your-own-key (BYOK). You paste a key from a provider you already have an account with — OpenRouter, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, or a local Ollama install.
- Your key is stored only in your own browser and is sent only to the provider you chose. Shilp's pages never forward it anywhere else.
- You are responsible for your provider account, its usage costs, and for following that provider's own terms. Shilp is not a party to your agreement with any AI provider.
[ 03 ]Apps you create
Everything Shilp helps you produce — the HTML file, its design, its content — is yours. You may edit it, sell it, publish it, or delete it. You are solely responsible for what your generated app contains and where you publish it. Do not use Shilp to create anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.
[ 04 ]Acceptable use
- Don't use Shilp to build tools for fraud, harassment, malware, or anything illegal in India or the region you use it from.
- Don't attempt to attack, overload, or reverse the Shilp website itself.
- Respect the terms of the AI providers you connect. If a provider bans your key for misuse, that is between you and the provider.
[ 05 ]Availability — no promises
Shilp is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. AI models change their answers, providers change their APIs, and browsers change their rules. We improve Shilp continuously, but we cannot promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we cannot promise that any generated app will work flawlessly. Test what you build before you rely on it.
[ 06 ]Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shilp Collective is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss — lost profits, lost data, lost keys, wasted credits, or damages arising from apps you create or publish. If something breaks, tell us and we will try to help, but the responsibility for your provider account and your published apps stays with you.
[ 07 ]Changes to these terms
We will update this page as Shilp grows. When the terms change in an important way, the "last updated" line above moves too. Continuing to use Shilp after a change means you accept the updated terms.
[ 08 ]Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes settled in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Questions, reports, or takedown requests: namaste@shilp.studio.
