Privacy on Shilp is simple because of how it is built: your data never touches our servers. There are no Shilp accounts, no Shilp database, and nothing to leak. Here is the complete picture.

[ 01 ]The short version

We can't sell, scan, or lose what we never receive. Your key, your prompts, and your apps live in your browser — and only there.

[ 02 ]What we do not collect

No accounts. There is no sign-up, so there is no profile to build.
No analytics or trackers. No Google Analytics, no ad networks, no fingerprinting scripts.
No Shilp-side storage. Nothing you type or generate is uploaded to a Shilp server, because Shilp's pages are static files.
No third-party tracking cookies. If a preference ever needs a cookie, it will be a first-party one that stores only your UI choices.

[ 03 ]What stays in your browser

Shilp saves small things on your device using your browser's own storage (such as localStorage), for example:

your API key, so you don't paste it every time;
UI preferences like theme or language;
the last few app drafts, so a refresh doesn't wipe your work.

This data stays on your device until you delete it. Every Shilp screen that handles keys includes a way to erase them on the spot, and clearing your browser's site data removes everything else.

[ 04 ]Calls to AI providers

When you generate an app, your browser sends your prompt — and, when that provider requires it, your key — directly over HTTPS to the provider you selected (OpenRouter, Google, DeepSeek, or your own local Ollama). Shilp has no server in the middle, so it cannot read, log, or replay those calls. What each provider does with your prompt is governed by that provider's privacy policy, not ours. Read it before pasting sensitive information; prompt content is not private once it reaches a cloud model.

[ 05 ]Visiting the public website

The pages hosting this site may produce ordinary, short-lived server logs (IP address, browser type, time of visit) as almost every website does. We do not use them to profile you, and we do not combine them with anything, because there is nothing to combine them with.

[ 06 ]Your rights (and India's DPDP Act, 2023)

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives you the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. Under Shilp's architecture you exercise these rights yourself, instantly: erase your key from the key screen, wipe drafts from the app, or clear site data in your browser settings. If you ever believe something slipped through anyway, write to us and we will fix it within 30 days.

[ 07 ]Children

Shilp is not directed at children under 13, and our terms ask that young users involve a parent or guardian. We hold no data about anyone, minors included.
